Meet Your Instructors

Rick Genge – Guitar, Bass, Theory, and Songwriting

Rick is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and producer who’s spent years helping musicians grow in their craft. Whether you’re interested in learning chords, sight-reading, or putting together your first original tune, Rick creates a relaxed, practical learning experience that meets you right where you’re at.

He also offers recording support for singer-songwriters who want to turn an idea into a finished product for streaming services.

Lori Paul – Vocals, Performance Coaching, and Songwriting

Lori offers vocal coaching, lyric support, and performance guidance in a supportive, uplifting environment. Her unique approach blends technical training with artist development – whether you’re preparing for a stage performance or just want to sing more confidently at home.

Lori was named Female Artist of the Year at the Fraser Valley Music Awards, and she brings decades of experience as a performer and teacher to every session.

What We’re Offering This Summer

Recorded Vocal Evaluation – $120/hr

Want to improve your vocal technique or performance skills? Book a recorded evaluation session with Lori. You’ll receive personalized feedback, recorded playback, and practice tips you can use at home.

Songwriting Recording Preparation – $70/hr

Got a melody in your head or lyrics jotted in a notebook? Bring them in! Rick will help you shape your song. He’ll arrange and chart your song then find your style to prepare for the recording process – all you need is your idea and your voice.

Singer-Songwriter Summer Bundle (July & August) – $800 ($1,450 Value!)

20 hours recording time with Rick producing, playing guitars, bass, synth and drum programming. Final product for streaming services.

Bring a Friend – Duo Recording Sessions

Music is even better when it’s shared. Bring a friend, sibling, or fellow musician and record a song together – maybe as a gift for a loved one or just for fun. We’ll help you create something memorable and meaningful.
