The New Album

Is underway, and will be ready for release sooner rather than later if I have anything to say about it (I usually don’t). I’m chuffed about our album cover and CD artwork but it’s all hush hush so forget I said anything. I have an old photograph for the cover that makes me laugh every time I look at it! It’s another old black & white picture of my Dad, like our cover of Mighty Fine Time, which featured my great uncle Dick, ‘the singing cowboy’ on stage at the Beacon Theatre in Winnipeg back in the late 30’s. There’s something irresistable about prefacing our music with a glance back at my ancestors, men who were prairie farmers, hard working people who loved country music. I like to think Uncle Dick would have enjoyed these songs we’ve written, and I know my Dad does…we hope you will too. Stay tuned!
